This is a draft Special Power of Attorney by a son/brother/sister ( suitable relation) who is residing out of India and is an NRI,  in favour of another family member, to surrender tenancy rights in a property. It also gives the power to execute and register the Deed of Surrender.
Whenever an NRI executes a PoA it has to be first declared before the Indian Consulate in the country of residence and then when received in India it has to be stamped and registered. It is mandatory to register such PoA without which transaction cannot be completed as sub-registrar will not accept a Document of Surrender on behalf of an NRI.
